What is Rainbow's End?
Rainbow’s End is a co-operative effort involving homeschooling parents to provide homeschool students with group learning experiences while building friendships. Rainbow's End also works to encourage and support home school educators.
A yearly registration fee of $25 per family is required to join. This fee covers use of the building, a portion of the cost for events exceeding $6, reimbursement for supplies and equipment for in house events and administrative cost.
The Rainbows End Board will facilitate a monthly event for homeschoolers to attend and a monthly night out for educators. The Board will also oversee classes, programs, special events hosted by Rainbow's End and encourage homeschool educators to lead.
Because Rainbow's End is a Co-operative effort, it is only limited by the involvement of its members. Because of educator leadership the group has offered:
physical education classes year books Scholastic Book Club
Reading incentive programs like Book It and Six Flags Reading Program
LegoLeague Science Fair Theater field trips
Summer Park days International Night
Music classes Foreign language classes Gavel Club
Spectrum events for ages ten and up Spelling Bee
